On 25th October 2022, India is going to witness Partial Solar Eclipse, a rare celestial event, which India witnessed in the past on 19th March 2007 and will be witnessing on 3rd November 2032 in future. Such a long- awaiting event is unmissable for everyone to catch. The eclipse will mark its significance throughout Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Mumbai, mainly covering the majority of our northern India.
WHAT IS A PARTIAL SOLAR ECLIPSE?
Solar eclipses take place during New Moon days. Partial Solar Eclipse is a type of Solar Eclipse, which occurs when the moon takes a tour between the Earth and the Sun, by obscuring the Sun partially. The Umbra(dark region), Penumbra(light region) and Ant umbra(beyond umbra) are the co-factors which result in Total, Partial and Annular Solar Eclipses respectively.

Again, the sun is obscured by the moon 24.51% and of course the Partial Solar eclipse will likely come at its peak at 17:42:52 pm. Worli, quite has an amazing historical background of being a separated island i.e one of the Seven Bombay Islands, which were preceded by Portuguese to England. Worli Sea Face is the main part of our event. Every astronomical event needs a perfect sky view, otherwise it’s no fun.
