Stargazing Mumbai is India’s leading astronomy outreach organization, dedicated to making astronomy accessible through immersive stargazing events, astronomy courses, workshops, public sky observation sessions, and astro-tourism expeditions. Built on the principles of Observation, Understanding, and Inspiration, we combine practical skywatching with interactive astronomy education to help participants explore the universe beyond textbooks while fostering scientific thinking, environmental awareness, and a lifelong passion for space and astronomy.

We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, and motivated interns eager to learn and grow with our team. Interns will work closely with various departments, support online and field activities, contribute to upcoming projects, and participate in weekly team meetings while gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Positions:

      1. Unpaid Internship

Eligibility Criteria:

    • A strong interest in astronomy
    • Experience in public speaking- Good written and verbal communication skills
    • Willingness to travel for long events across India for weeks
    • Dedication to completing the internship while balancing academic/other responsibilities
    • Candidate should be Mumbai-based

Duration: 6 months (3 months extendable)

Location: Mumbai
